Evolve With Beth: It Is MINE

Evolve with Beth - It's Mine

IT IS MINE! I said to my husband, he had picked up my ear-phone somewhere and was using it. So I was stating the obvious, so he’d take care not to lose it!

He has this uncanny record of misplacing ear-phones, hence, I have taken it upon myself to ensure any earphone of mine is kept in my hand bags because he just hates to look for things in my hand bag (lol) neat strategy right?

I know he’ll read this, but I know he’ll rather ask me nicely than rummage through my bags anyways😊.

So, when I said IT IS MINE! He annoyingly retorted you are mine, so the earphone is mine too. I just rolled my eyes and retorted something I am unwilling to share now… (lol).

We do that to God all the time you know, we plan OUR future, marry WHO WE FANCY, MAKE decisions based on how WE feel, tell Him how far He can come with directing OUR lives. And when we get into trouble expect him to FIX it.

Every day He watches us live the life He gave us, that we have oh so naively called OURS.

Everyday He hopes that we one day genuinely realize that our lives are HIS.

Everyday He hopes this power tussle ends,of who indeed owns this life we call OURS.

I am learning the wisdom of just trusting Him with my life. Seems difficult at first…but isn’t that the smarter thing to do? Trusting your maker with your life? Paul in the bible says…

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring…” – Acts 17:26‭-‬28 NKJV

So, who OWNS your life dear?
